Wait for Your Time
Life operates in seasons and every individual has their own appointed time for success, breakthroughs and achievements.
It’s easy to assume that because you’ve been in a particular place or position for a while, your turn should naturally come next.
Some things can only flow to you when it is truly your time, not just because you believe it’s your turn.
Consider a wedding reception.
Guests are often served based on a queue, yet it’s not uncommon for some people to receive food even when they weren’t in line.
Meanwhile, others who have been waiting diligently might still not get served immediately.
This illustrates a profound truth, being in line does not guarantee when or how you will be attended to.
The same principle applies to life’s opportunities, just because you’ve been waiting doesn’t automatically mean your moment has arrived.
This is not an encouragement to be passive or lazy.
Instead, it’s about being wise enough to discern between challenges that require active effort and those that time itself will resolve.
Some problems are like wounds, they heal with time, while others require immediate treatment.
Knowing the difference is crucial.
Take business, for example.
If you start a venture and it grows gradually, that is progress.
But expecting to become wealthier than Dangote within a short span is unrealistic.
Even over 10 to 20 years, it takes the right calculations, business policies, capital, expertise, structure and many other factors aligning to reach such a level of success.
Time plays a crucial role in the equation, but it must be accompanied by strategy and persistence.
Your Journey is Unique
The fact that you entered into business before someone else does not mean you will succeed before them.
If Emeka starts after you but has a different funding source, network, or strategy, he may rise faster.
The same applies to education, being in the same class does not guarantee that you will graduate at the same time.
