Pastor of Deeper Life Church Reports Disappearance of Wife and Four Children
Pastor Isaac Pada, a minister at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Lugbe, Abuja, has sounded the alarm over the sudden disappearance of his wife and their four children.
According to Pada, the incident occurred on July 30 while he was away at work. His wife, Precious, and their children, Pearl, age 8; Pathnel, 6; Pamebelo, 3; and Peace, just 7 months old, were all at home when he left.
When he returned around 8:22 p.m., the house was empty and there was no sign of his family. He said he has tried repeatedly to call his wife, but her phone is switched off. Relatives and friends he contacted also claimed they don’t know her whereabouts.
Pada emphasized that there was no conflict prior to the disappearance. He noted that he had even given his wife money for personal use just the day before.
He has reported the case to the Lugbe Divisional Police Station, and an investigation is underway.
In a petition dated August 16, filed by his legal team at Honour Law Partners, Pada alleged that his sister-in-law may have orchestrated the disappearance. According to the petition, she allegedly arranged for a driver in Kubwa to pick up Precious and the children and transport them to an unknown location outside Abuja.
However, Mrs. Precious Pada, through her sister, has denied being missing. She claims she fled the family home due to years of domestic abuse, accusing her husband of regularly beating her. She says she is currently with her mother in her home village and does not intend to return.
