For me, the scariest truth is this:
Love doesn’t guarantee staying.
You can give someone the softest parts of you, build a world together, and still, life, timing or their own quiet ache can pull them away.
Love is not ownership. It’s presence, until it isn’t.
And maybe the second scariest truth is:
To really love is to hand someone the power to hurt you, and trust they won’t.
That kind of openness isn’t comfortable. It’s terrifying. But it’s also the only way love can ever be real.
