Let’s have a little heart-to-heart, shall we?
Why are you scared of the unknown?
No, really.
What do you think the “unknown” is going to do to you? Jump out from behind a bush and yell, “Boo”?
Drag you into a horror movie montage?
Let’s face it, most of us are scared of things not because they’re dangerous, but because we imagine them to be. You don’t even know what’s in the dark, but you’ve already created a mental guest list of demons, spirits and angry ancestors waiting to ambush you.
Relax, it’s probably just your cat knocking things over again.
Now, let’s talk about the spiritual.
Yes, spirits. The invisible influencers that get blamed for everything from bad relationships to missing socks. But here’s a juicy truth: they only have as much power as you allow them to have. I know, shocking right?
Some of you are out here acting like the spiritual have direct debit access to your destiny. No, they don’t. You have to sign the consent form first.
“But I’m a spirit too!” you say. Yes, you are.
And a beautiful one at that. But I’m not talking about your inner light or the way your aura glows under moonlight. I’m talking about those messy, chaotic life situations, usually dressed in spiritual clothing, that you invite in without even realizing it.
Let’s not pretend we don’t know how this happens.
You live carelessly. You dabble in everything and call it freedom. You keep hopping from Ada to Isioma to Ekaette to Anita like you’re collecting Pokémon, forgetting each human comes with her own spiritual Bluetooth.
And guess what?
Every time you connect, you sync data. Not just selfies and sweet nothings. I mean deep spiritual data. Background spirits, ancestral passwords, karmic cookies. It all downloads into your soul’s hard drive.
Then you wonder why you feel confused, weighed down or like something is “off.”
Bro, your spiritual inbox is full.
You’ve got attachments you didn’t ask for and malware you can’t delete because, well, you installed it yourself.
This isn’t Sunday school talk. This is real-life spiritual street sense. This is the part they leave out of Instagram quotes and Netflix dramas. Life is more spiritual than physical, and until you start seeing it that way, you’ll keep blaming the wrong things for your confusion.
Ever notice how native doctors are picky about who they sleep with? Or why they don’t just go around sampling everybody like it’s a buffet?
They understand what many of us don’t: sex is spiritual data exchange. It’s not just about climax. It’s about contracts. Covenants. Convergence. Just as bodies become one, so do spirits.
Now before you go blaming everyone you’ve ever kissed, slow down. This isn’t about fear.
This is about awareness. It’s about spiritual hygiene. You brush your teeth, right? Take a shower? Maybe exfoliate? Then why are you spiritually ashy?
Start with this:
Live right.
Not because you’re scared of hellfire, but because you want to walk around this earth light.
Untangled.
Unburdened.
Free.
Be led by love. Be kind, even to those who are deeply committed to misunderstanding you. Don’t engage in evil, not because you fear karma, but because your spirit deserves better friends.
When you live with intention, consciously, deliberately and consistently, you become untouchable. No spiritual Wi-Fi can connect without your password. Ugly situations might knock, but they won’t find a home.
You’re already guided.
Every day, your guardian angel sends you spiritual notifications, through dreams, gut feelings, sudden insights, but you keep swiping them away like pop-up ads. It’s time to stop ghosting your inner wisdom. It’s time to tune in, not zone out.
So no, don’t be scared. You are not just walking through this world, you are creating in it. Every action is a blueprint, every choice a spell. Choose wisely.
Remember: the spiritual world listens closely to those who speak with clarity.
Walk in love. Stay aware. Guard your spirit like you guard your phone. And maybe, just maybe, uninstall a few old apps (situationships) that no longer serve you.
Have a blessed and spiritually secure day.
