The anticipated release of the gripping television series “In Love and Ashes” begins with the release of original soundtrack by pop legend 2Baba. As expected of a music maestro, 2Baba delivers a soul-stirring track with thought-provoking lyrics, a perfect soundtrack for the moving tale that’s ‘In Love And Ashes’. Its a calm and soothing song for the adult and matured mind.

 

Most Nigerians are so engrossed with too much noise called music but it's hightime we comprehend and appreciate good music and 2baba is always out with it, good and dope vibe. The sound is so dope and even doper on amazing headphones. 2baba is actually the King of hip-hop, he is the greatest of all time, always meeting up with expectations, omor the lyrics no dey finish for him mouth. Some get head but them no get sense (this is another announcement) . "In love and ashes" is a story about loss, regret, forgiveness, and the incredible human spirit and its capacity for healing. It is a narrative of hope in the face of disaster, a bitter-sweet tale that highlights the social, humanitarian and moral challenges that bedevil communities and their inhabitants that have experienced violent extremism in North eastern Nigeria.

Set in, Maiduguri, the series showcases a cast that accentuates love over hate and draws the moral conclusion that to overcome extremism, all stakeholders must rise above ethnic and religious differences and jointly fight back the menace. The series features a star studded lineup including Patience Ozokwor, Charles Etubiebi, Nafisat Abdullahi, Sani Danja, Tijjani Usman Faraga, Anita Pam and Meg Otanwa.

2baba In Love and Ashes is a corresponding music video directed by Unlimited LA launched at the series premiere event that took place in Lagos. Innocent Ujah Idibia (born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria), known by his stage name 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. Prior to July 2014, he went by the stage name 2face Idibia. He is one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artists in Africa, and is also one of the most bankable artists in Africa. He does Afropop, R&B, Hiphop, Raggae and Gospel. He is signed to his Hypertek Digital label.

Hypertek Digital is a Nigerian based record label founded by recording artist 2face Idibia. It was established following Idibia's departure from Kennis Music, a record label owned by Kehinde "Kenny" Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye. The label was founded in 2006 and is home to recording artists such as Victor Uwaifo, Dammy Krane and RockSteady.

The label is a subsidiary of 960 Music Group. 2Baba has received one MTV Europe Music Award, one World Music Award, five Headies Awards (Hip-hop award), four Channel O Music Video Awards and one BET award for his musical work, four MTV Africa Music Awards, one MOBO award, one KORA award, and numerous additional nominations.
